Kakamega twins who became the talk of the town DNA results conducted by Latace Kenya is finally out.Sharon Mathias and Melon Luteyo as earlier on reported were separated at birth under unclear circumstances. Rosemary, mother of the identical twins narrated that she gave birth to twins and one of the twins was taken ill and she had to leave her at the hospital.She would come back to breastfeed then go back home.According to Latace Kenya-The institution that took over the DNA tests, the two girls,Sharon and Melon are indeed twins.
They share identical DNA profiles,with the 23 allelic loci tested showd 100% perfect match,which is consistent with the two being biologically twins" Latace Kenya


The DNA tests results that was conducted among the four: Melvis Imbaya ,Rosemarry Khaveloli Onyango, Angelina Amina Matias and Wilson Lutali Maruti, revealed that Melvin -the third girl- is not biologically related to the twins.

How the twins were separeted at birth in 1999 at Kakamega County Referral Hospital puzzle still remains unsolved.DCI promises to unveil the truth from the Hospital.
