Job summary
We're searching for an enthusiastic visual story teller. You'll need to be courageously creative, yet just as committed to day-to-day communication tasks; and a team player who can also work independently.
The Intern will primarily support the implementation of the communications strategy consistent with the organization’s mission, key messaging, core outcomes and area of excellence.
· Develop written stories, photos and videos to support visibility, fundraising, PR, advocacy.
· In coordination with other departments prepare and distribute information, education and communications material to target audiences.
· Prepare monthly and quarterly organizational newsletters.



· Assist with the coordination and logistical preparation for events.
· Identify and seize media opportunities to promote TISA’s programs, and track queries by the public and news media in a timely manner.
· Take and edit programs and events photographs and videos and manage TISA’s media bank
· Develop content for TISA social media accounts and update these platforms.
· Develop design layout design, infographics and GIFs.
· Production of short video clips.
Required Skills

· Holding or in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications or a related field. Experience in writing, editing and producing materials for website content.
· Working knowledge of photo editing software and video production.



· The ability to communicate simply, clearly and effectively with excellent written and editing skill
· Experience and excellent skills in the use of communications technology (specifically social media, audio and video etc.).
· Experience of design software, such as InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator,
· Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office business application software. Graphic design and visualization.
· Possess ability to work under pressure.
· Be passionate, proactive and a team player.
