Unidentified Lady who had travelled all the way from Uganda to Visit her Husband in Kericho, Kenya is currently isolated at the KCRH.
Unidentified Patient from Malaba, Western Kenya is currently admitted at the Kericho County Referral hospital after exhibiting symptoms of Ebola Viruses.
According to reliable sources, the woman had travelled from Neighbouring Country Uganda to visit her husband who works in Kericho, Kenya.

How Ebola Virus found its way to Uganda.

Uganda Country has been placed on the grid by the World Health Organisation after a family of Six suspected to be carrying Ebola virus slipped into the country from DRC. The family went to DRC to attend their grandfather's burial-who was diagnosed with Ebola.

It was later on reported that two of the family members, a woman and a Five years-old boy Died of Ebola. The rest of the family members are currently in isolation.

Today Kericho residents are left in fear of contracting the deadly disease that has managed to wipe out hundreds of residents living in DRC after a woman, previously admitted at Silom Hospital has been admitted at the Kericho County referral Hospital exhibiting symptoms of Ebola. The symptoms include; Fever, Severe headache. Muscle pain.Weakness.Fatigue.Diarrhoea.Vomiting and Abdominal (stomach) pain.

This patient--currently in isolation- needed close and further elaborate investigations while under appropriate isolation requirements till diagnosed for targeted treatment to be given. The County disease surveillance team immediately took over the matter and took all the necessary precautions......all essential procedure is followed to protect Public Health and Safety.
